Do you plan on allowing multiple data layers to be displayed at the same time on a single map?
Is this a feature you hope to implement, or do you feel it will clutter the screen and prefer the meteogram approach?

We did discuss about putting multiple data items into one screen many times, but there are only very few where it makes sense without cluttering the screen too much. So it is generally only possible to have one background colorization scheme and a few symbols (without colors) on top of that.
So about the only mix that we currently do not have I could think off would be background colors from precipitation and wind symbols and pressure isobars on the foreground. We did not do this as it is a very special display and we are not sure this would be of general interest.
For seeing all parameters in one glance the meteogram view is definitely the best option.
In other words, as you assumed we feel it will clutter the screen and that is why we prefer the meteogram approach.
