does not start up.

If the problem is related to a corrupted high resolution map, try the following before starting WeatherTrack:

Use the System Settings app to change WeatherTrack preferences without even starting WeatherTrack (scroll down to find the WeatherTrack section). Choose map options and set it to use the low resolution map. If WeatherTrack starts then, it is a corrupted hi-res map. The only way to fix this is to delete WeatherTrack completely and re-install.

Otherwise, we occasionally had the problem that the app did not work if the network you are connected to (e.g. your WIFI router) was turned on but the Internet connection did not work, e.g. if a DSL line is down. This can be worked around by turning WIFI off, start WeatherTrack and then turn WIFI on.

In any case, we would be very interested to see any diagnostic reports your device has collected about WeatherTrack, if you do not mind. PLease Use the System Settings app, Choose General, then Info and then Diagnostics and Usage and then Diagnostics and Usage Data. Search for any entries with WeatherTrack in the name and copy and paste these to a new email to
support@weathertrack.us.
